i wrote about this the other day, as i've also noticed myself recently gravitating away from "cloud collab" software that has dominated the last decade, and back to files and my local machine. very interesting, i like this "personal os" framing.

Yep. I’ve been using Git a lot more recently, like having a repo be the source of truth. But yeah, docs and sheets still have their place, of course.
This is very intriguing, please consider doing a tutorial in which you reiterate on your "Ben OS".
I have been trying to do something similiar, but still in the early stages, and mostly seen its usefulness in sorting and renaming folders atm.
